Wheelwash draws significant interest from Latin America at ConExpo 2015

Wheelwash UK supported its local team by exhibiting at ConExpo’s inaugural construction products trade show in Santiago, Chile last week. The show was organised to meet the demands of the South American countries whose economies are forecasting strong and sustained growth over the forthcoming decade.

Wheelwash showcased the Ecowash Excel on their stand, which is just one system from their extensive range of  innovative wheel wash machines with integrated water recycling. The stand generated significant interest from all corners of Latin America including host country Chile and extending to Peru, Colombia, Panama and further afield.  Customers from diverse sectors such as construction, mining, concrete plants and waste management applauded Wheelwash for exhibiting an eco-friendly solution to combat environmental issues.

The key benefits noted by potential customers included the water recycling facility and general ease of use of the equipment. They also praised our knowledgeable staff which demonstrated our commitment to customer service and unparalleled aftersales support.

Christina Duarte, Export Business Development Co-ordinator for Wheelwash, invested considerable time in Chile talking to potential customers on the stand. When asked about ConExpo 2015, Christina commented, “Attending such key tradeshows is very important to Wheelwash not only to showcase our product range and technical  innovation, but to generate trust in our exporting abilities. Spending time with our local team is invaluable,  ensuring we understand the Latin American markets, their requirements and how best Wheelwash UK can support them. It has been an extremely successful event.”

The strength of enquiries from the show have already resulted in a new sale of an Ecowash Excel to agents Triconos Mineros, who expect to deliver and install the unit to one of their customers in the coming weeks.

To support Wheelwash’s international growth, the head office in the UK has seen extensive investment in people and capital equipment to meet demand in the UK and overseas.

Increasing business relations across the globe only further the export capabilities of the business. The coveted Queen’s Award for Export Achievement is also in the pipeline, with the shortlist being announced in December, winners to be notified in March 2016.
